Allbrite UK on the BBC

Allbrite UK Ltd Managing Director, Mr. Russell White was recently invited to take part in BBC Wales’ rural affairs programme – Country Focus.

Russell was asked to give reporter Sarah Easedale a tour around his carbon-free home in Flintshire. During the last 3 years he has built his house on a former 6 acre farm and has managed to achieve the maximum level 6 of sustainability according to the Code for Sustainable Homes! The house was built from scratch and is completely carbon-neutral and self sufficient!!

It was build with special insulation made of waste pallet wood and it includes a PV system, a solar heating system, a wind turbine, special heat transfer ventilation and of course the AHT Amorphous Electric Underfloor Heating System.

The house cost 30 per cent less to build than a standard house its size and Russell believes this is the house for the future. He also feels that it’s important he has the products in his house which he sells at Allbrite to prove their green credentials.

He said: “The future isn’t gas and oil it’s about renewables and it’s never one product, it’s an integration of different products to fit your lifestyle. I passionately believe I’ve got it right.”

Russell’s Recommendation

In my opinion the AHT Amorphous flat ribbon system has truly unique advantages because it is only 1.8mm thick, installation is very easy, it can be laid over any type of subfloor, have any type of floor covering on top of it and it takes only 3 minutes to reach optimum temperature.
