A Touch of Florentine Class!

Two of the most famous cafes in the centre of Florence have chosen AHT Amorphous heating mats as their sole source of heating in their current renovations. With a history dating back to 1733 Caffé Gilli and 1846 Caffe Pazkowski are among the oldest continuously operating cafés not only in Florence but also in the whole of Italy. Located in the prestigious Piazza della Repubblica, they both retain an early 18th- 19th century style with frescoed ceilings, rich wood paneling, murano lamps, and marble topped bars. Their world renowned menus include traditional Italian savory dishes such as panini and pastas, with Gilli being best known for its pastries, such as freshly baked cornetti (Italian croissants) and Pazkowski for its handmade chocolate truffles, thick hot chocolate, and well-made cappuccino.
